Penetrating liquid, auxiliary for inspection of materials through non-destructive tests, showing cracks and other discontinuities present in treated surfaces. This is accomplished through a combination of the capillary action shown between solid-liquid pair and the intense color of the penetrating agent. Water insoluble, can be removed with solvents.
